Our Mission
We, Aria and Arman Najmabadi, started Kids Equal Kids Foundation to give back to the community in ways that genuinely make an impact on the lives of others. In the society that we live in today, there are many inequalities-whether it is in education, socio-economic status, or access to necessities. Growing up in Los Angeles, we are blessed with many opportunities such as receiving private school education, living in a financially stable household, and having access to quality health care. We’d like to help children across the globe have access to the opportunities that we do. Hence, the name Kids Equal Kids, as we believe all kids are equal, should be treated as such.
From the young age of 4 years old, we have traveled to Punta de Mita, Mexico, consistently as a respite from the bustling city of Los Angeles. Over the years, we frequented various schools and orphanages, donating books, clothes, and our time to put a smile on the faces of kids just like us, living elsewhere on this planet we call home. We hope to pursue our goal of helping children and chipping away at inequalities in communities starting with that of Punta de Mita.
